Proactively and efficiently monitor and support your IT infrastructure from anywhere, anytime with HP Insight Online

The information about IT infrastructure customer need must be available the moment they need it. Customer has requirements for companies IT assets: instant, secure access and management.

That’s why HP created HP Insight Online. HP Insight Online provides one stop, secure  access to the information need to manage the devices in  IT environment, along with standard warranty and contract services, from anywhere, anytime. Through the HP Support Center portal, Insight Online can automatically display devices remotely monitored by HP Insight Remote Support software and lets you easily track service events and support cases, view device configurations, and proactively monitor HP contracts and warranties.

Insight Online is tightly integrated with new Insight Remote Support 7.0 software, which provides the remote monitoring capabilities. Customer now has end-to-end infrastructure management integrated with HP support.

With Insight Online, customer has a single, personalized “My IT Environment” view, with easy navigation to see all the  details of IT infrastructure.

 

The major parts of HP Insight Online are following:

Dashboard. The Insight Online dashboard integrates your support and product information into one at-a-glance view for quick and efficient management of IT environment. Customers  can easily monitor and manage devices, events, and support status.

Devices. This feature provides a visual status of customer individual devices and device groups, including auto-populated HP Insight Remote Support devices and manually added devices.

Service events. Online monitoring and management of devices using HP Insight Remote Support software are also included in personalized dashboard. Customer can view all key event information, such as severity, problem description, date and time of the occurrence, event status, and the related support case ID.

Contracts and warranties. This feature allows to track contract and warranty status by device and by contract. Customers can see what contracts they have, their associated access rights, and when they expire.
