The quad controller design in 7400 model will deliver up to 3 times better performance of other systems in its class. With its upgrade supporting design it is possible to add additional controllers or additional ports to your system as you grow. To migrate from your existing old storage system you can utilize HP Peer Motion to move your workloads online and non-disruptively. New 3PAR StoreServ 7000 can be expanded up to 4 controllers, 4 Gen4 ASICs, 64GB cache, 24 ports (FC, iSCSI), 480 drives.
