Digital Week 2026 | BIT online seminar

As part of Digital Week 2026, on March 16 at 10:00 AM, Baltijas Informācijas Tehnoloģijas invites you to the online seminar “Cybersecurity puzzle – how to assemble it?”, where we will explain in a practical and easy-to-understand way the basics of corporate cybersecurity and how to turn individual solutions into a unified, resilient system.

Cybersecurity is not a single solution or tool – it is a set of interconnected elements. Many organizations implement separate security measures, but the biggest challenge is to ensure that they form a cohesive, transparent, and effective system. In this seminar, we will look at cybersecurity from a broader perspective to see the overall picture and understand how individual security elements connect with each other.

The seminar will be led by BIT Service Manager Jānis Eglītis, who will share experiences regarding challenges faced by organizations in strengthening cybersecurity resilience, as well as implementing NKDL and Cabinet of Ministers regulations in practice.

During the seminar, we will cover:

      • The cybersecurity minimum that every company should have;
      • Practical solutions organizations use on a daily basis;
      • Elements that build cybersecurity resilience and the prerequisites for strengthening it;
      • Common mistakes and approaches to avoid them.

We will pay special attention to what every employee should know and what company and business process managers need to consider, so that security measures are not merely formalities but truly effective and sustainable.

The seminar will conclude with an open discussion – participants will have the opportunity to ask questions, discuss practical situations, and share experiences.

Join us to see cybersecurity as a system where every element matters, and the overall result depends on how thoughtfully these elements are connected.
